Fire is the thread of my life

One thing is for sure – that’s transformation. The most intense lecture of my life. There were times of big change and tremendous challenge, but also very successful times. Most of my life, I was searching for my true self.

 

The force of phoenix

Just two days before my degree in exhibition design, the house I lived in burned down. My name Arusha means “bringing fire to earth”. During my design studies I developed a jewelry box, which had to be burned, in order to find the piece of jewelry inside.

 

Finding Zen in the art of goldsmithing

Drawing and painting was my form of expression as a child. Up to this day, I still love to create and design. It started with wild performances, large paintings and mystic objects. When I embarked into the education of gold- and silversmithing, I found inner peace and learned to focus my energies.

During my design studies at the University of Düsseldorf in Germany, I created jewelry and products from my personal stories and memories.

 

Winning awards

Working as a designer at the manufacturer Niessing, known for its clear and reductionist high-quality design I designed many modern classic jewelry collections with precious materials like gold, platinum and diamonds. My designs were awarded and nominated, and sold in retail stores worldwide.

 

Journey to the east

It was a coincidence. I was invited to Hong Kong to develop a jewelry design program, at the Hongkong Design Institute. I taught with enthusiasm and managed different projects in the Chinese World.

Since then I have been tutoring creative processes and inspireing other designers. I became a trainer for the creative process of design development.

In spite of all success something inside of me stayed unfulfilled and I decided to follow my true path. This path lead me to Tel Aviv, where I have spent a lot of time in the past and wish to spend more time in the future.

 

Now is the time to connect everything

The production process is a mix of originality, sensuality and working with the elements. From the depth of my soul I receive sparks of light and impulses, which want to take form. With creative expression I weave materials and personal stories into design and paintings. I am creating for personalities and space.

When I design, I flow with the creative process and take time to create a beautiful and extraordinary peace of jewelry.
